The Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) of the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is holding its research symposium, that is, CITERS 2025, on 2 and 3 May, 2025 at HKU.

CITE, which aims to strive for excellence in the use of IT in education, provides a platform for individuals and institutions, dreamers and experts to come together to build new knowledge about learning and transformative use of technology. CITERS 2025 welcomes researchers, practitioners and people of related fields to share ideas, research findings and good practices, and join our discussions on various topics. This year’s theme for the symposium is ‘Touching Hearts and Inspiring Minds with Emerging Digital Technologies’.

We invite you to submit your contributions to one of the six sub-themes:

2. Intelligent Learning Design and Learning Analytics
3. Learning and Teaching with Emerging Technologies
4. Education Equity and Digital Wellbeing
5. Emerging Literacies for Future Readiness
6. Multimodal Composing with Linguistic and Multimodal Generative AI
